Del Norte Prescribed Burn Association Meeting

🔥 Burn to Learn Event – November 7th & 8th – Rock Creek Ranch
 

Location: Rock Creek Ranch, South Fork Road, near Rock Creek

Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
 

Join the Del Norte Prescribed Burn Association (PBA) and partners for a Burn to Learn event at Rock Creek Ranch. This hands-on workshop will provide an opportunity for landowners, community members, and agency partners to learn about prescribed fire, smoke management, safety procedures, and local efforts to restore healthy fire to our forests.
 

Participants will have the chance to observe and assist with live burning under the supervision of experienced fire practitioners. This is a great way to gain first-hand experience, ask questions, and connect with others working to make Del Norte County more fire-resilient.
 

All members of the community, landowners, and interested partners are invited to attend. Your participation helps strengthen our local capacity for safe and effective prescribed fire

Bring: Long-sleeved natural-fiber clothing, leather boots, gloves, and water.
