Public Wildfire Planning Meetings

We need to involve our residents in wildfire planning.  While wildfires are inevitable, we can plan ahead to help our firefighters and protect our communities.  We want your input on prevention, your values at risk, and suppression planning.  All information gathered from these meetings will be used in our County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) to help shape the future of Del Norte County.

In each meeting, we will give a short presentation on our county's current wildfire situation, share current and planned projects, and then give residents an opportunity to weigh in.  We want to know your values at risk and identify opportunities to protect them.  We want to work together.
